These terms apply to supervisadirect.ca, operated by Super Visa Direct Insurance Services. SuperVisaDirect is the online quoting service of a licensed Ontario insurance agency, not an insurer. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. Effective 17 October 2026.
What is SuperVisaDirect?
SuperVisaDirect is a quoting and application service operated by Super Visa Direct Insurance Services, a life and accident-and-sickness insurance agency licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario, licence number [FSRA-LICENCE]. We arrange insurance issued by the insurers listed on our insurers we represent page. We do not issue policies, hold premiums or pay claims.
Are quotes binding?
Quotes are indicative until the insurer issues the policy. A quote reflects the insurer’s rates on the day, for the exact details you entered. The premium is confirmed only when the insurer accepts the application and issues the policy document.
A quote may change if:
- The insurer updates its rates between quote and purchase.
- The parent’s date of birth, arrival date, province or health answers differ from what was entered.
- The insurer’s underwriting declines or adjusts the application.
We correct any error on the site as soon as we find it. We are not bound by a price shown in error.
Which document governs the coverage?
The insurer’s policy wording governs. Everything on SuperVisaDirect, including comparison tables, summaries of stability periods, refund rules and maximum ages, is our summary of the insurer’s documents. Where a summary and the policy differ, the policy prevails. Read the policy before the start date.
The insurer, not SuperVisaDirect, decides whether a claim is paid. Claims disputes follow the insurer’s process and then OLHI, as described on our complaints page.
Is anything on the site advice?
No. Content on SuperVisaDirect is general information. It is not advice about whether a plan suits a specific parent until you have spoken to a licensed advisor and that advisor has reviewed the parent’s circumstances. The site cannot assess a parent’s medical history.
Statements about IRCC rules summarize IRCC’s published requirements as of the review date on each page. IRCC can change its rules without notice. SuperVisaDirect does not give immigration advice and makes no representation about whether any application will be approved.
Who can buy through SuperVisaDirect?
Ontario residents, aged 18 or over, buying for a parent, grandparent or other visitor. Super Visa Direct Insurance Services is licensed in Ontario. Service in other provinces will begin as licences are obtained, planned for 2028. We do not serve Quebec residents. We may decline to arrange a policy where we are not licensed or where the application is incomplete.

You must enter accurate information, including the parent’s health answers where asked. Inaccurate or incomplete answers are the most common reason insurers deny claims. What is our liability?
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Super Visa Direct Insurance Services is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site, reliance on a quote or summary, interruption of the site, or the decision of any insurer. Our liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the commission we received on the policy concerned.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability arising from our duties as a licensed agency under Ontario’s Insurance Act and regulations. Our conduct remains subject to FSRA oversight.
Who owns the content?
Super Visa Direct Insurance Services owns the text, tables and design of SuperVisaDirect. Insurer names, logos and policy wording belong to the respective insurers. You may print or save pages for personal use. You may not copy the site’s content for commercial use without written permission.

Questions people ask
Is a quote on SuperVisaDirect a binding price?
No. A quote reflects the insurer's rates on the day for the details you entered. The price is confirmed only when the insurer accepts the application and issues the policy. If the insurer's rates change, or the details you entered were inaccurate, the issued premium may differ from the quote.
If the site says a condition is covered, is that guaranteed?
No. Our comparison summarizes each insurer's wording as accurately as we can, but the policy document issued by the insurer is the contract. Where a summary and the policy differ, the policy governs. Read the policy before the start date and ask an advisor about anything unclear.
Can I use SuperVisaDirect if I live outside Ontario?
Not yet for a purchase. Super Visa Direct Insurance Services is licensed in Ontario and serves Ontario residents. Other provinces are planned for 2028 as we obtain licences. We do not serve Quebec residents. You may read the site from anywhere, but a policy can be arranged only where we are licensed.
