About SuperVisaDirect

SuperVisaDirect is operated by Super Visa Direct Insurance Services, an independent Ontario life and accident-and-sickness insurance agency licensed by FSRA. We built it so families could buy super visa insurance online in three steps, one policy at one price, without phone tag or surprises. The policy sold is TuGo's Visitors to Canada plan, underwritten by iA Financial Group. We are an agency, not an insurer.

Rules and prices checked October 17, 2026. Written by a licensed advisor at SuperVisaDirect, FSRA licence [FSRA-LICENCE].

SuperVisaDirect is a super visa and visitor insurance site operated by Super Visa Direct Insurance Services, an independent Ontario life and accident-and-sickness insurance agency licensed by FSRA. We launched it in 2026 so that a Canadian host can answer three questions, see one price for one policy with its fine print on the same card, and buy it in one sitting. The policy sold on SuperVisaDirect is TuGo’s Visitors to Canada Emergency Medical plan, underwritten by iA Financial Group, bought on TuGo’s secure checkout. The policy is always issued by the insurer named on your certificate, never by us.

Why we sell one insurer’s plan

We chose the TuGo plan because it meets every IRCC requirement, has no maximum age on its Comprehensive tier, issues the certificate instantly at any hour, and is underwritten by iA Financial Group, a Canadian life insurer whose name goes on the certificate IRCC checks. One plan means one price, one set of rules to explain, and a same-day certificate for every age. It is not always the lowest price in the market, and we publish the dated market comparison of every Canadian super visa plan so you can check that for yourself before you buy. The other insurers named in our guides are there for comparison; they are not sold through SuperVisaDirect.

Who is behind SuperVisaDirect?

Super Visa Direct Insurance Services is an independent agency based in Ottawa. Its designated licensed agent is Cameron Hayes, who handles every file personally, including everything you see on this site.

Why did we build SuperVisaDirect?

Families kept asking us the same question. They knew IRCC required insurance for the super visa, but buying it meant days of phone tag, quotes that changed and conditions nobody explained. SuperVisaDirect removes those three frustrations.

The traditional way to sell super visa insurance is a call, a questionnaire read aloud, a quote by email, a second call to buy. It works, but it is slow. Parents in India or the Philippines are often asleep while Canada is awake.

The hosts we serve are usually 30 to 45 years old, busy, and anxious about a refusal letter. They want one clear price, the pre-existing condition rules in plain words, and to buy at 11pm if that is when they have time. So we built a site that lets them do exactly that, with a licensed advisor one email away.

What makes SuperVisaDirect different from a call-centre broker?

Three things: the one plan we sell is shown with its full fine print before you pay, the price is the insurer’s own price, and the same licensed advisor who sold you the policy handles your start-date change, renewal or claim. There is no separate “service department.”

  • We show the underwriter on the plan card, because the IRCC super visa document checklist requires the certificate to name a Canadian insurer.
  • We flag the pre-existing condition stability period, the maximum age and the refund rule before you pay, not after.
  • We never claim a plan is the lowest-priced in Canada or “approved by IRCC,” because neither claim is true of any insurer.

What SuperVisaDirect is not

SuperVisaDirect is not an insurer, not a claims administrator and not an immigration consultant. “Direct” in our name describes how you buy, online in one sitting without a phone call, not who issues the policy. We arrange insurance. The insurer named on your certificate issues the policy, holds your premium and pays claims under its own wording.

We also do not give immigration advice. We can tell you what IRCC’s published insurance rule says and link you to it. We cannot tell you whether your parent’s application will be approved. For that, speak to a licensed immigration consultant or lawyer.

Finally, we are not a lead-generation site. Your details go to the insurer that issues your policy and to our licensed advisor. They are never sold or passed to third-party marketers. Our privacy policy sets out exactly what we collect and why.

How is SuperVisaDirect regulated?

Super Visa Direct Insurance Services is licensed and regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA). FSRA reviews agent conduct and can act where rules are broken, as set out on its complaints page. Our complaints page explains how to escalate to us, the insurer, OLHI or FSRA.

We publish a written advisor disclosure and a written list of the insurers we represent, as Ontario regulation requires. We have also adopted the THIA Travel Insurance Bill of Rights.

Where are we and when can you reach us?

We work online and by phone; there is no walk-in office. Our Ontario mailing address is shown in the footer. Email [email protected] or request a callback, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm Eastern Time.

Our licensed advisor works remotely, at times from outside Canada. That lets us cover early mornings for families writing from Asia. It also means we apply specific safeguards to your data, which the privacy policy describes.

If you prefer a conversation before you buy, contact a licensed advisor. If you are ready, see how buying on SuperVisaDirect works.

Questions people ask

Is SuperVisaDirect an insurance company?

No. SuperVisaDirect is operated by Super Visa Direct Insurance Services, a licensed life and accident-and-sickness insurance agency in Ontario. Every policy bought through us is issued by the insurer named on your certificate, and that insurer pays your claims. We arrange the policy and support you before, during and after the purchase.

Who regulates Super Visa Direct Insurance Services?

The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) licenses Super Visa Direct Insurance Services and its designated licensed agent. Our licence number is [FSRA-LICENCE]. You can verify any Ontario insurance agent or agency on FSRA's public register, and you can escalate a conduct concern to FSRA at any time.

Which provinces does SuperVisaDirect serve?

We currently serve Ontario residents. Other provinces are planned for 2028, as our licensing expands. We do not serve Quebec residents. If your parent will be living with you outside Ontario, contact us and we will tell you honestly whether we can help today.

Does SuperVisaDirect charge a fee on top of the insurer's price?

No. The premium you pay on SuperVisaDirect is the insurer's own price. We are paid a commission by the insurer, which is already built into that premium. Our advisor disclosure page explains exactly how we are compensated and how we manage any conflicts of interest.

Can I still talk to a person?

Yes. Email [email protected] or request a callback, and a licensed advisor replies Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm Eastern Time. Many families buy entirely online, but nothing stops you from asking a question first.
